Talking about conservatism

On Monday night I gave a speech at a MacDonald-Cartier Society meeting on the topic: The conservative movement at the crossroads.

You can read the text of my talk here.

By the way, it was a fun event, the place was packed and I had a chance to meet many old friends and also to make some new ones.

Loved hearing you speak and meeting you in person. Learned somethings I didn't know, like you are more than just one of the top five political minds in Canada or you being blessed with boyish good looks.

Look forward to hearing and chatting with you again.

Gerry, there is one thing you keep doing that bothers me and it is your habit of being libertarian one moment and a conservative the next. Which is it? Lets hope you choose the one that hasn't produce flops from Schwarzenagar to Mulroney to GWB.
