Thinking Back ...

As the year comes to a close, it's the perfect time to reminisce.

And since I have nothing else to blog about, let me take this opportunity to list some of my personal 2007 highlights:

* Debating Tom Flanagan at the the Fraser Institute's Behind The Spin@theSpoke Event.

* Writing a regular column for the Sun Media Chain, over the summer.

* Getting named to the Maclean's 50.

* Speaking at the Liberty Summer Seminar.

* Participating in the Canadian Constitution Foundation's "Future of Freedom" conference.

* Discovering Facebook.

* Finding out I have lots of good friends.

Gerry:

Busy year for you, for sure.

Thanks for your keen political insights mixed with a sense of humour... a nice thing to see back in this country.

It's nice that someone has the courage in Canada to leave aside their partisanships, and fittingly hammer all three National parties for their weaknesses/ inconsistencies ...

Objectivity in the Canadian media, Gerry! Maybe you will have started a trend ???

All the best in 2008.

Sincerely,

Concerned in Halifax

Keep up the good fight in 2008. Every little thing helps, if not to make things better, then at least to keep things from getting worse.

Happy New Year!
