The Sting of Battle

Sometimes when you want to get in the zone, when you are preparing for a contest of wills, it's a good idea to get some inspiration.

And who better to inspire you for a fight than General George S. Patton.

... It seems more a crucial alliance, than a fight.
... Mr. Flanagan is correct in recognising that, though we have a "conservative" government, the country remains comfortably clinging to collectivist values. Incrementalism" is unavoidable.
... However, your's is an equally crucial role in teaching "where" we want to go, vs. Mr. Flanagan's role in fairly advising "how" to get there.

Uhhh, Gerry forget all that "crucial alliance" crap... We have a less "conservative" government than Chretien's was -- I am really not entirely sure what this form of government is.

You are Canada's great right hope! Keep sticking those rights, and watch his low blows... A wounded neocon/liberal is still a dangerous beast! Don't be fooled by the rope-a-dope or the "we have a minority government" nonsense...

GERRY... GERRY... GERRY...

PS. Flanagan, if you're eaves dropping on this site to see what might be coming tonight, remember... it's the flip flops, secrecy and spending, stupid!

One more bit of tactical advice...

If Flanagan gets you into a corner and starts to lay on a beating, rely on your sense of humour to get you out of trouble. Western Canadian neocons cannot stand humour, and have no defense against it. It's like pouring a bucket of water on the Wicked Witch of the West...

Right. Because some petty little dispute between Canadian conservatives should be mentioned in the same breath with fighting fascism...

Incrementalism only works if you are incrementally going in the right direction.

... It's just that the goalposts have moved in the last few months... even in the last week.
... Although Mr. Harper deserves a zero in terms of advancing conservative economic values, it is only fair to acknowledge admirable achievements in every other area... nevermind having essentially eliminated any trace of Opposition- the only-recently considered "natural governing party" having become mostly a memory at this point.
... Last minute advice... congratulate the achievements, keep on the economics.zjldzv
