None of the Above?

Who do you think would make the best U.S. president from Canada's point of view?

That's the question the Canadian Centre for Policy Studies is asking on its online poll.

So far, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are neck and neck.

Ron Paul has destroyed the rest of the field -- 52% currently.

The people voting are clearly morons. Ron Paul would not be the best president for Canada, or the U.S. He might, however, be the best president from an Iranian or Syrian point of view, just for starters.

Actually, Ron Paul would be the best in the sense he is a non-interventionist on foreign policy. Even though a lot of his policies may seem wacko to Canadians, at least he would stay out of other people's business. That being said, those who are multilateralists probably wouldn't like him, even though I would argue the idea of the United States becoming a multilateralists supporter is wishful thinking. Either they will be a unilateralist country like they are today, or an isolationist one like prior World War II. I personally prefer the latter. I would though say the Democrats would probably appeal more to Canadians since despite their protectionist tendencies they are more philosophically in tune with your average Canadian

Why do you hate Dr. Paul so much...

Even Giuliani had to admit that Paul won every GOP single debate --Well, those that he wasn't censored from anyways.

Look what 8 years of government by liberal spending hawks has done to the good old USA...

What exactly makes the majority of people who Voted for Ron Paul "clearly morons?"

The fact that they have chosen a candidate who employs reason, logic and economics or the fact that you don't agree with Dr. Paul on some issues.

Paul is certainly not David Frum's "Right Man." That has been clearly established.
