Left Wing Fantasy

What would a world without America really be like?

I think the world would be in some ways worse without the United States, but also some ways better. I believe Canada would probably be not as left wing as we are since much of that is about differentiating ourselves from the Americans. Certainly some of the awful atrocities done around the world be it installing Pinochet in 1973, Grenada in 1983, and funding the Contras would have never happened. Terrorism would likely be weaker as American foreign policy is major reason for causing this. Our world would be more diverse culturally, which I see as plus not a negative.

And finally we wouldn't have annoying celebrities such as Britney Spears, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, and annoying nutbars like Pat Buchanan, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Anne Coulter to put up with.

Miles, Don't pick on Britney. She's going through a tough time.

We could do without Britney fine. The only thing good about her is she is good looking, but she is dumb and her music sucks.

Off course we here in Canada have Avril Lavigne.

Oh come on Miles!

American Foreign Policy = terrorism???

No more Al Gore, Hilary(or Bill) Clinton. No more annoying Liberal whiners.

No way better tv than the CBC.

No good game shows.

Anonymous - the Americans have done both some good and bad things. If you read up on their history, they have propped up some brutal dictators, so they are not all good and rosy as some think.
