I was right on the left . . .

Yesterday I predicted the Democratic left would not be happy with Nancy Pelosi's attack on Hugo Chavez.

Well, I was right.

I think thats probably more the case in Canada than the United States. In the US the left is not very large to begin with and they tend to be rather moderate. If anything it is the right not the left that scares me more in the US. Off course Canada is a total different story as we have more leftist and they are more left wing, so many of them will defend Chavez. There is also a strong anti-American element who defends anyone who dislikes the United States. I abhor the current US administration but I am not blindly anti-American.
