The Prime Minister unveiled his new cabinet today, which is newsworthy because it means journalists will now have to find something else to speculate about.
Also newsworthy about the cabinet is it's size, I mean in terms of population the cabinet is now the fifth largest city in Canada.
In fact, it's so large its meetings will now take place in the Rogers' Centre.

Marjory Lebreton, Minister in Charge of coming up with new excuses for not reforming the Senate
Bev Oda, Minister Responsible for Sticking it to all you critics out there!

Its pretty simple really. Quebec did not vote for the Conservatives and does not deserve to be over-represented in cabinet. This is pure BS...just sick. Only 6 seats from Kebec, don’t forget that Harper. We outside kebec gave you the majority, not Quebec!!!

I agree this cabinet is too big and sends the wrong message. Given the power of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) there are probably only a handful of ministers who have any real influence on policy. Cabinet ministers get a large salary boost, a limousine, a private driver and the ability to hire more political staff all on the Canadian taxpayers back. If Harper wanted to show leadership this is the place he should have cut first.
