Anne Rice used to be famous for writing vampire novels. Then she embraced Christianity and started writing about saints.
Anyway, when it comes to politics Rice seems to be an odd mix of religious right, Democrat.
Check out her endorsement of Hillary Clinton, it's not your typical pro-Hillary manifesto.
And in the interest of balance here are some folks who want to stop Hillary now.

... However, she is wrong on both accounts- 1) the popular error of believing that socialism- the supporting of the forcing of one's neighbor to give charitably- is the Christian way.
... And 2)- That an end to abortion will be achieved by political means- through the Democratic party.
