Politics of Paul

I asked a Republican political consultant friend of mine -- who happens to be a libertarian -- what he thinks of American presidential wannabe Ron Paul.

His answer: "Colorful. Nutty. Not serious." But he added: "I hope he continues to the end and becomes even more blunt."

As for me, I think it would be nice to see Paul talk about issues other than the Iraq war.

Anyway for you Paul fans out there check out his video from the Knights of Liberty.

Many people who think they are Libertarian are not. They believe in freedom as long as the government is there to provide all the services that they think are important. A real libertarian recognizes that if you want freedom you have to give up some of the false security that is promised by government programs. Personal responsibility is Ron Paul’s message. No real libertarian thinks that is nutty.

George Bush was "colourful, nutty and not serious," and he still got the job!

The neocons have destroyed the economy of North America... that includes Ontario, by the way!

Bye bye, neocons. Don't let the door hit you on your way out!

Let's face it, Ron Paul is not nutty even if some of his supporters are.

If Ron Paul wants to win in the early states, be better keep talking about war. It's good politics.
