Happy Tax Year

It looks like 2011 will be a good year for big government.

Or at least big government will get richer while taxpayers get poorer.

So says the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, which calculates that we will all be paying more in taxes next year, with residents in Ontario getting dinged the hardest.

Oh well, try and have a Happy New Year anyway.

I notice that not one of the blogging tories (other then you)
have mentioned the tax increase,
I wonder why?
I have to assume the tories are a tax and spend party as well as the Liberals.

The Old Fellow, did you even look to see if other BT's mentioned this?

I'm hoping for the 'year of the axe' to come along soon. (real conservative)

In regard to Bertie's comments, I'll mention this:
Being the better of the two evils is hardly a choice or "deal" as you put it.
That's always been the choice in this country, and it one way or another, gets us a bigger state.
Historically it goes back and forth between the Liberals and the Conservatives with the NDP cheering on the sidelines.

We need to move toward less government not more. The two "crap" parties and the moral crusaders(NDP) wont get us that.
