For as much time as you were allowed, good showing!
What the hell is up with Lapierre??? Just when I was starting to think he's not so bad after all, he has a typically Liberal Left hissy fit about how Canada...gasp...looks to the rest of the world! And that's what should be driving our policies on this nonsense! YIKES!!!
Lapierre's blood pressure went up a few notches for sure. Perhaps overnight it will come down to a normal reading. I was surprised as well, as his demure was totally out of context. He normally is a little right of center but somewhere between the brain and the tongue something short-circuited this evening. Learning to shrug is the beginning of wisdom. No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
Hello Jerry...You were AWESOME tonight on CTV. You NAILED it. I was giving you the fist pump and thumbs up.Gooood job. Finally, someone telling it like it is.I was PROUD of you. The only thing you didn't get a chance to say was..."If Ont. and Que. is so against Albert and the Oil sands....maybe they are against the equilization payments Alberta sends to them?" What was with x- Liberal Lapierre??? I always found his comments to be fair , but tonight he looked menapausal....lol You made Canadians PROUD tonight. You made my day.
You missed an opportunity when Lapierre mouthed off about Quebec, Ontario and BC, you could have said, Yes and they all have Liberal Governments showing massive declines in the polls.
I may not have been one of your fans in the past, but your performance on Power Play changed my mind. Well done, Gerry...you actually had the balls to say what others have only hinted at, and seeing Lapierre speechless was pretty funny. I immediately thought "we need this man in government"...but that would probably cramp your style too much, wouldn't it?

Excellent defense of the Government and the PM, Gerry.
ReplyDelete2 thumbs up on your appearance on Power Play. Well done Gerry!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your interview, great conservative TV personality. Ever consider your own segment or show?
ReplyDeleteI believe you would get a large following.
Best regards,
Conservatism needs a way to get the message out.

Alberta has dirty tar oil; Quebec has clean hydro. Then again, Quebec built a big skating rink in the north so that it could get its clean hydro.
ReplyDeleteGerry, I've never been as proud of you, and never as disappointed in Jean Lapierre as tonight.
ReplyDeleteCharest & McGuinty are interested in cheap political points as you rightly pointed out.
We need to recover from the economic crisis before we worry about anything else. You totally nailed it. Good on you Gerry!

ReplyDeleteThe cowards in the room always start to sweat when the heat is on, aka. Lapierre. Good job Gerry. (real conservative)
