I am a Conservative, but I don't believe policies should be based on whether they are socialist or capitalist. They should be based on what's right and what will work for Canadians. So what if the Conservatives are using socialist tactics to get out of this recession? While far from perfect, increased stimulus spending in the past has been shown to cushion the effects of the global recession. Thus, good on the Conservatives for being pragmatic.

Because "Conservatives" continually preach against "socialism" under any circumstance, unless it benefits their constituency. That means you are craven hypocrites, not "conservatives", and deserve nothing but contempt.
Lots o' commies out West, it seems.
