Less pride, more sense

Joseph Ben Ami has a good column explaining why the federal government's decision to dole out $400,000 to gay pride week doesn't make political sense.

  1. Your inner hick is peeking out.

Gays do more for the Canadian economy than the Alberta tar sands. Leave 'em be.

  2. Well BigCityLib let's see the data to back up your nonsensical claim !

If Pride Week is such an economic marvel then we taxpayers should not need to fund it at all ... but I forgot , this is yet another left-wing entitlement.

  3. ... oh and I forgot to mention that I both donated and voted for the Tories , which undoubtedly very few if any of BigCityLib or the gay community did , so why should the Conservatives donate a nickel to Pride.

... I may vote for the Tories next time around but I will NOT donate any more until Harper wakes up from his socialist nightmare.

Get Gerry to make sense for you by explaining the difference between the Conservative Party and the Government and what public funds mean.

Go for it Gerry. Don't let another Conservative mind go to waste.
